Suzana Stroke was born in Hungary, grew up in Brazil, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics Sciences at the University of Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) in 1964. Her activities in these areas included two years as a scientific programmer at M.I.T. (Lincoln Laboratory – a Research and Development Center of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and ten years as a digital systems designer at ALTEC (Rio de Janeiro).

Since 1978, after training with several international experts, her activities have been directed towards psychotherapy, leading groups, as well as training and supervising therapists.

Together with Alaor Passos, she founded the Center of Cultural Research and Human Development in Belo Horizonte in 1979, and has since been integrating innovative approaches into transpersonal psychology. She has and continues to work in both Europe and the Americas.

She has worked in the SAT Program staffs since 1989, both as a disciple of and a collaborator with Dr. Claudio Naranjo -- a spiritual guide and pioneering integrator of Western psychology and Eastern spiritual traditions.

She has developed her personal vision of relationships, specializing in couples and the unique skills necessary to sustain a nurturing and evolving commitment to another person. This specialty has been extended to the harmonization of inter-personal relationships among professional staffs at institutes of human development as well as psycho-therapists and theater actors training schools. Her experience and finely honed skills are the result of her work with groups and individuals which has transpired over the last 30 years, she has worked directly with over six thousand individuals.

In her private life, Suzana had her sixtieth birthday in 2004, is the mother of four young men and women, the adoptive mother of two more, and the grand-mother of eight grandchildren. At the moment she divides her time between her continuous travels, attending to the requests of therapeutic and educational centers, writing her first book on relationships: "To be in Relation: the Encounter which makes Life Divine."

In 2004, in response to the ongoing requests of many people who had participated at her workshops, she began to offer individualized counseling through online communication and via e-mail.

Suzana has her residence in Brazil, the country where her family lives, yet she is warmly received by friends with whom she has created profound love bonds along the way and so she has a home everywhere she goes.
